Coaching to Help Prevent and Reverse Cognitive Decline
If you are concerned about Alzheimer’s Disease, or want to optimise your brain health, you are in the right place.
I am a Functional Medicine Health Coach specialising in the brain. I have trained with Dr Dale Bredesen’s company, Apollo Health, the leading U.S. institution, recognised globally for its dementia and Alzheimer prevention and reversal programmes.
Alzheimer’s is a complex, multi-faceted disease. It generally develops over several years, even decades, prior to symptoms manifesting. As with so many diseases, prevention is better than cure and yet there are now examples of Alzheimer reversal.
The great news is that science is moving fast, hope absolutely does exist and, whether you want to protect or heal your brain, there are lots of steps you can take. We have a tendency to think of our health from the neck down but shouldn’t we start with our brain because without it, who are we?
“We are at the dawn of a new era in Alzheimer’s treatment, where prevention and reversal are becoming a reality”
Dr Dale Bredesen, Chief Scientific Officer, Apollo Health and Senior Director of Precision Brain Health, Pacific Neuroscience Institute
About Me
I am passionate about brain health and helping others to prevent and possibly reverse Alzheimer’s. My mum died of the disease and both my parents had Parkinson’s.
Those heartbreaking years made me so frustrated at the approach to neurological decline and how so many wonderful, talented people are left to suffer such a sad end of life when prevention is now so often possible.
So, in 2022, after a successful corporate career, I decided to retrain as a health coach specialising in the brain. I trained with the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy before completing ReCode 2.0 with Apollo Health. I am also an Oxygen Advantage functional breathwork instructor which I use to support clients to reduce their stress and anxiety – critical for a healthy brain.
I have one copy of the ApoE4 gene, the most widely recognised and researched genetic risk for Alzheimer’s so I practise what I preach and follow a preventive regimen.
I am part of the coaching support team on the website, ApoE4.info, which is a fantastic global community and helps me stay abreast of the latest developments in Alzheimer’s research.
I understand the fear of Alzheimer’s and have lived the heartbreak it can cause but I also strongly believe that knowledge is power and there is always hope if you choose to take action.
Work With Me
There are many causes of Alzheimer’s but broadly, our risk is determined by a combination of genetics and lifestyle.
Medical science now allows us to gain valuable insights into our genetic risks and biomarkers which in turn can determine the lifestyle changes and technology that can transform our brain health.
I support you to understand the science and implement these changes
“The human brain is the most complex and powerful organ, defining who we are and what we can achieve ”

When my mum was struggling, I remember breaking down on the phone to an Alzheimer’s charity desperate for someone to give me some hope and tell me how I could help her.
A neurologist had diagnosed her with Mild Cognitive Decline and whilst initially comforted by the word ‘mild’, I now know that it is the equivalent of a stage 4 cancer diagnosis.
There were no blood tests to evaluate any drivers or deficiencies and mum scored relatively well in the cognitive tests. Yet we knew something was very wrong.
If you are in this situation, getting a practitioner trained in ReCode and working with a coach to help implement a personalised programme is by far the best option. There are no guarantees that treatment will be successful but there is always hope if you take action.
There are some basic things to consider which, for many, can lead to big improvements. Check out my Explore section to see what you can do and learn more about Apollo Health and my approach.
